Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad. Proverbs 12:25
Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body. Proverbs 16:24
During this time of extended separation from church and the pandemic it is so important that we stay in touch with each other. These two verses from Proverbs remind us that our words do make a difference and it is important to encourage each other especially during this time. Many of our church members are not getting out at all and a call would be an encouragement to them. As you call your friends and fellow church members if you find that other contacts are needed please call the church office and let us know. Sunday School Leaders, we need to make sure that we stay in close contact with your classes. Help us stay connected even when we are socially distancing.
SERVE Team
Our Serve Team is continuing to support various ministries in our city. Many of these ministries are supplying food and other items to those in need. These ministries include Love Loud Montgomery (Forest Park Ministry Center), Reality and Truth Ministry, River City Church, Mercy House, Beauty by Fire (Widows Ministry), Salvation Army and others. We are continuing to collect food, hygiene Items, water, and cleaning supplies. These items can be dropped off at the church and will be delivered to the proper ministry. Please help us as we minister to the community through these ministries.
