You Belong Here
At Eastern Hills, we strive to Follow God, Reach others, and Teach them to do the same. The student ministry exists to partner with the church and families to accomplish this goal.
As a ministry, we hold tight to three values that we hope to instill in our students that encounter our ministry. The first is Biblical Authority. We want to be a people that are submissive to God and His Word. Second, we want to be a place of Authentic Community. Eastern Hills is a place where you belong. A place where you can be with all of your faults and scars and know that we will walk with you through life. Third, we want to Live on Mission. The world is our mission field. Wherever we are–at school, at work, at home, across the state, country, or world–we want to be a people that proclaim the good news of salvation in Jesus!
We would love for you to join us in this endeavor to make Jesus known. During the course of each year, we offer weekend retreats, mission opportunities, local monthly events, and other activities in order to allow students an environment to Follow God, Reach others, and Teach them to do the same.
Sunday mornings at 9:00 in the youth room. Our small group gather in age and gender specific groups and are led by adult volunteers. Our small groups aim to create a sense of authentic community while digging into God’s Word together.
Our weekly gathering for our student ministry is Wednesdays at 6:15. Our gathering is called ONE because we strive to serve One God, live as One family, for One mission. We constantly need to be reoriented to the truth of the gospel and who we are in Christ. Each week we meet together with this aim in mind. ONE consists of games, activities, a time of worship led by our worship team, and a Biblical message from our student Pastor.
LIFT is a bible study that meets on Sunday evenings from 5:00-6:30 in the home of church members. This is a wonderful time for our student to Live in Fellowship and Truth (LIFT). We meet, enjoy a meal, hang out, and dive into God’s Word.
