We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who came to the earth as God in the flesh to show love for sinners through His death on the cross. Christ was resurrected in victory over sin and death. We believe that through faith in Jesus Christ anyone can have complete forgiveness of sin and a personal relationship with God. We believe that salvation is a personal, individual experience which comes through an understanding of Christ’s death and resurrection and a personal commitment to Christ as Lord.
Baptists are known as “people of the Book.” That statement means we accept the Bible as the Word of God, divinely inspired, and wholly trustworthy. We hold the Bible as authoritative in all areas of doctrine, worship, and church governance.
