Easter Weekend

Wow! Words cannot ever express how I felt Sunday as we gathered to celebrate the Risen Lord. Our service was packed as we gathered our church together for worship on Easter Sunday. I can’t remember when we have had that many in worship together. Our count was 796. It was truly a blessing!

Maundy Thursday Service is always a special service for me as we gather for the Lord’s Supper and reflect on the suffering that Christ endured as he faced the cross. It was wonderful way to begin the Easter weekend.

The weather was beautiful for our annual Easter egg hunt at the Gosselin’s. This is always a big hit for our children and is a great time to fellowship, picnic, fish and, of course, find the Easter eggs. Thanks to Greg and Karen for opening up their home for us to enjoy. It takes a lot of work to make that happen. Thanks for a great time!

We look forward to seeing you this Sunday for Bible Study and Worship. Remember, Sunday afternoon at 4:00 PM will be our annual church picnic. Bring your lawn chair and come enjoy the food, fellowship and fun!
