Congratulations to Katie Chappell, Emily Harmann, Barrie Lee Sullivan, and Steven Harris from Eastern Hills Baptist Church for being elected to this year’s STATE CHILDREN’S HONOR CHOIR, sponsored by the Alabama Baptist Convention’s State Board of Missions. More than 150 fourth through sixth grade singers auditioned for this year’s choir.
We are very proud of these young people who have just returned from the CHILDREN’S HONOR CHOIR TOUR. The director for this choir is our own MRS. KAREN GOSSELIN, State Music Associate. We would also like to express a very special “Thank You” to Cheryl Chappell for rehearsing with these children each week and preparing them for the tour. The PARENTS of these children also deserve a special thanks for making sure the children attended these important rehearsals AND the additional area rehearsals.
And of course, many thanks to our chaperones this year: Sissy Harris and Sandy Harmann.
