What to Expect

The teachers at Eastern Hills Baptist Church are committed to serving Jesus Christ by ministering to children and their families. We provide a safe and secure environment for them to grow and learn about the great love God has for them. Our core values are to train children to love God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength. This is accomplished through age appropriate Bible lessons and activities. We would love for you and your family to join us for worship this Sunday, and experience all that Eastern Hills Baptist Church has to offer.

Sunday Activities at EHBC

9:00 AM — Sunday School

Sunday School is the place where children learn about God’s great love for them. It is a place where they can learn the Bible, grow in Christ and make good friends. Bible truths are taught with the age characteristics of each child in mind. Children learn the Bible through Bible learning projects, scripture memorization, songs and games.

10:30 AM — Children’s Worship

Children’s Worship is for all children, kindergarten through third grade. They meet during the 10:30 AM Worship Service. The children learn the importance of worship by taking offering, singing hymns, praying and reading Bible stories. This is a fun time of music and movement as the children learn how to worship.

Wednesday Activities at EHBC

5:00 PM — Family Supper

Each Wednesday begins with family supper at 5:00 PM. There is a small cost for each person or family.

5:30 PM — M2 Music & Missions

Music is a vital part of worship. It provides an outlet for expressing our love for God, and a way to share God’s love with others. Our choir programs provide children with valuable musical experiences each week. The children are involved in singing, playing instruments, and learning the importance of music in worship. They also learn about missions by doing missions serving others and talking to different missionaries from around the world.
